6. Vacancy of office

The office of chairman and member shall become vacant in the following cases:-

(a) If his term of office is completed,
(b) If his resignation from his position before the Government of Nepal is accepted,
(c) in case of his death,
(d) If he attains the age of 65 years,
(e) If he is relieved of his post by the Government of Nepal on the recommendation of the Performance Evaluation Committee, or
(f) If the Government of Nepal dismisses him from office based on the recommendation made by the inquiry committee constituted by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Government of Nepal that his performance is not satisfactory or that he has bad conduct or that he has not faithfully followed his official duties.
